Orillia was not one of Leacock's ports of call on his tour, probably because he lived there seasonally and knew it well. His western tour was at least partly a journey of exploration through territory he had never visited, and never would again. It seemed the most appropriate place to launch our Re-Tour, however, for obvious reasons, and because the train stops nearby at Washago. And we are inspired by local enthusiasm for the idea.
