Web-Site Performances
We start from the assumption that performances must be tailored to the performing medium, and when it came to recording we have not known how to do that. A simple recording made in a studio or during a live performance does not create the experience that we want for the listener. We are going to start by experimenting with other ideas. As we become satisfied with the results, we will offer them over our web site. We will also offer to tailor-make collections and put them on CD. Eventually, when we really know what we are doing, we will probably make a conventional CD, although by that time (say, two or three years hence) the on-the-web technology may be all we need.
If performances in print are booklets, then maybe these digital things are digilets. If we are publishing chapbooks, maybe they are digital chapworks.
