We have always wondered what would happen if our guests encountered one of our resident rattling reptiles. Last year (2010) it happened. As people were leaving after the concert there he (or she) was, in the middle of the path leading to the parking lot. What happened? The snake moved off and assumed a photogenic pose at the base of a nearby tree. All the guests took pictures. The event was a huge success! It wasn't this snake, or perhaps it was, although this picture was taken in another place on another day.

A whole new strain of performing art
A Fusion of Storytelling, Classical Music (especially opera) and authentic Northern Canadian Spirit
We performed successful concerts (The "Old Masters" Concert) in Hamilton, Guelph and Kitchener in April, and in Paisley and Leith (Owen Sound) in May.
We are now making plans for 2010 and 2011.
Localities: Grey Bruce, Bruce Peninsula, Brinkman's Road
Community Storytelling
Partnerships for expressing Sense of Community and Sense of Place
Encouragement and support for other storytelling circles in Grey Bruce and area
Cultural Enrichment through Community Storytelling: We are what we tell ...
Canadian Storytelling Repertoire and Resources
A new idea and activity for us: watch it bloom in the months ahead
We will publish a detailed list of our repertoire on this site
We will encourage other Canadian storytellers to publish their repertoires here
We will continue to evolve our ideas about the Canadian performing art of storytelling
We will encourage others to join the conversation
Country Supper Recipes (our own, and maybe a few others)
The Ultimate Doggie Bag. People have been asking for our recipes, and here they come!
We will publish them here, and in a booklet
All of them: Leslie's Gefilte Fish; Inevitable Salad; Paul's Apple Pie; the whole works
(Sorry this has taken so long...it's coming...soon...soon...)
